The fascinating sound of gamelan

For the first time since its formation Ensemble Gending organized in 2007 a composer - practicum. ‘‘The fascinating sound of gamelan’ was in cooperation with the faculty KMT of the HKU Utrecht and with composition – teacher Barbara Woof.
Via an introduction, a ‘hands on’ practice, knowledge of repertoire, study of scores and extensive sessions with the whole ensemble with short evaluations, composers and musicians collaborated towards a concert that was presented in Theatre Kikker in Utrecht.
