Festival for contemporary Indonesian art.

Ensemble Gending organized in the weekend of 12-15 October the festival Oversteek (Crossing). In several theatres in Utrecht like Theatre de Kikker, Rasa, Moluks Historisch Museum, ‘t Hoogt and Nusantara Inda a broad range of artistic expressions were presented. There were concerts by Ensemble Gelding, Widosari, Ensemble Multifoon and Monica Akihary. There was a story narrator festival in Nunsantara Inda, a book presentation in the MHM, a festival with movies by Leonard Helmrich Retel and an exhibition by the Cemeti Arthouse with artistes from Yogyakarta.
